Area purely for avid hikers unless you want total relaxation, 3 buses a day, limited destinations, other villages very similar. Only 2 posssible walks for non hikers, to adjacent villages. One going to lower village via goat track. Horse riding available in village but limited english spoken. Several good tabernas in village also good souveneir shops ceramics,woven goods. Went here in August 2002 - great area for walking and wildlife. Villa Turistica has a pleasant setting with modest but clean apartments. Dont come here for opulent luxury but for reasonably priced, clean, pleasant accomodation. The food was pretty good overall, with a choice of dishes and good wine and beer on offer.
