Melia's not a 5 star hotel but for the price, location, and amenities it is quite the value. My family and I stayed in two corner rooms while visiting Atlanta for a niece's graduation. The corner rooms proved to be quiet, spacious and convenient to elevators. I would not recommend the breakfast deal as the food was poorly prepared and... More

From the time I checked in my experience at the Melia was great! The staff should great southern hospitality. The view from our room was superb. Great location, most of the places we went were in walking distance from great restaurants and pubs. Valet was great and helpful from the time we drove in, no long wait at all when... More

I booked through Priceline and got a good rate on this hotel. Afterward, I looked around at reviews and was terrified that I'd made a big mistake. The reviews are pretty harsh for this place. After staying here, though, I felt like it was just fine for the money that I paid. Had I paid full price, I probably would... More

After staying in this hotel for a week, I feel the hotel has recieved some unfair reviews on this site. Let me clear it up with an honest review of the hotel. I got this hotel booked fairly cheaply through ebookers and I knew the rooms would not be in a five star and first class hotel, I booked this... More

Thank You, Your review is very well written and outlines many truths about our hotel. Renovation is coming. The city of Atlanta is growing and is improving as well. We have set our rates below our brand margins with the understanding that our product is not representative of what Melia Hotels and Resorts globally displays. Once we have undergone renovation,... I traveled to Atlanta for a business trip alone and trying to save a little booked through Hotwire for a room downtown. I went with a three star and was booked at the Melia. My stay was a Wednesday and Thursday night. Being my first time staying in downtown Atlanta alone for the first time I got in before dark... More

Dear Guest: We appreciate your review of our hotel. To address your only concern in your review, our locks on the balcony doors are screw set locks. These locks are best to ensure the doors do not auto lock once you step onto the balcony. We are working with the physical structure of our building to suit the needs of... More

I love making reservations thru priceline, but priceline ruined my trust with rating this hotel a 3 1/2 star. If you simply look at the hotel lobby, you could possibly..... say 3 1/2 star, but that's pushing it. Once you get off the elevator to go towards you room, star ranks drop with each step toward your room. Not sure... More

Dear Guest: We regret that neither our product nor our services met your expectations. We have very respectable corporate clients who stay with us on a weekly basis. Our location is across from Emory Hospital, by Georgia Tech, ATT headquarters, and the Bank of America Headquarters. We do not fully understand your statement about our guest, but we can assure... 10 day Stay. Staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful through out or stay. Alex was amazing helping us find restaurants to eat at. The breakfast buffet had good choice. The restaurant menu was boring with only 3 choices and did not change threw out our stay. Lobby Bar staff some were good and some not so... More

Went for a weekend of dance instruction and socials. The staff is very friendly, generally happy people and helpful. We asked for extras, such as towels, and got them almost immediately. Mack was really quick to assist with directions and taking time to get to know guests. The breakfast buffet is nice-they had a decent variety in which to choose,... More

Atlanta is great town. Don't ruin your trip by staying at the Melia. First off, none of the rooms look like they have been renovated in the last 15 years. They have tiny old T.V.'s, and the doors don't close properly. Secondly, the ventilation in the baths don't work, so the ceilings are literally covered in BLACK MOLD. My company... More
