I stayed at the Urban Oasis in March of 2011, and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. I was in Atlanta for a conference downtown and looked for a place to stay that was nearby, but a little off the beaten path. This place was perfect! Prior to my travels Judi notified me that a wedding reception would... More

Judi and her Urban Oasis were truly fantastic. Walking to the main entry I was met with lovely flowering bushes and a little garden and patio (complete with fountain). The B&B is housed in an old warehouse which was magically transformed into an incredible space. I mean, a REALLY incredible space. The home is painted with a fresh and energetic... More

Stayed over a weekend for a friend's wedding nearby. No problems at all! Loved the proprietors who were very kind and even gave me a few rides to and from the train station, and to the places I needed to go that weekend. The place itself is spacious but cozy, quiet, and has a great modern vibe. I stayed in... More

We tried this B&B based on its unusual facility and we truly enjoyed the experience. Very eclectic design and different from any other B&B we've stayed in. Judi extremely helpful in suggestions for places to eat and see in Atlanta. At her suggestion we ate at Seafood restaurant called Six Feet Under with a rooftop deck directly facing a cemetery.... My girlfriends surprised me for my 50th birthday with a stay at the the Urban Oasis. The space is amazing. Our stay actually included a delicious dinner and breakfast. The location is great...right on the belt line and walking distance to several restaurants. Judi and Dwayne are very attentive hosts. They even rearranged their dining room for our dance lessons!... Dwayne and Judy were great hosts and very laid back. The space is very unique and a great place to chill. It is close to the Masquerade music venue, Little 5 Points, and the light rail. There are a lot of unique shops and places to eat nearby. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed are stay and will definitely book... More

We stayed two nights at the Urban Oasis B&B in late November 2012 and would recommend it as a unique B&B in a vibrant area of Atlanta. The B&B is in an eclectic area of old cotton warehouses, tree-lined streets, and beautiful old homes and also within walking distance of a MARTA station and the MLK historical site. This artistic,... We stayed at the Urban Oasis B&B for two nights while visiting our niece who lives nearby. We felt very much at home in this lovely, capacious and colorful place. We had Robyn's room, a downstairs room with a semi-private bathroom, which was clean, comfortable and had plenty of storage space for our things. The bassets were friendly and funny... More

We spent two nights at the Urban Oasis and it was a really good experience. The neighborhood is great, the space is very cool, and Judy had great restaurant and bar recommendations. We stayed in the room on the ground floor with the semi-private bath. If we are back in Atlanta we will definitely stay with them again.

The majority of B and B's tend to be located in older homes, often with Victorian charm. We have certainly frequented many fitting this description and have enjoyed lovely stays. However, it is a treat to discover one that is entirely different and unique which certainly is the case at Urban Oasis. Check out the HGTV visit! We appreciated the... More
