This is a charming inn, ideally located for visiting Woodstock. While we only stayed for one night we were made to feel very welcome and provided with useful information about the village and surrounding area. While we had originally booked the Bradford we were upgraded to the Westminster room, which had an exceptional bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with the home... More

This B&B was immaculately clean and charming. The modern colors and decor are different from more traditional B&Bs but work well. The owners are helpful without being overbearing. We had the front room downstairs but found it quiet enough to get plenty of sleep. Good bed. The only advice I would give is to make sure you are open to... More

Our inn provides complimentary tea, coffee, sodas, cakes and chocolate all day and night, as we feel inns that charge for them are petty and tight fisted, which is something we are not! The coffee cafetieres we use allow all clients to make beverages that suit their own style, strong or weak, hot or cool etc. We also provide clear... More

Do not be put off by the rather ordinary exterior of the property. The comfort inside is first class. From the size of the bed to the hospitality of the hosts, the Woodstocker is exceptional. Guests are the first priority here and the facilities demonstrate this in every way. The breakfast choice and standard is faultless. There is a small... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Woodstocker. David, Dora and Daisy were very welcoming, and our room, The Bradford was very comfortable, and immaculately clean. We really loved the rain shower in the bathroom, and the huge Kingsize bed. The English breakfast is amazing (especially the black pudding), and we really appreciated the kitchen with its tea/coffee making facility... More

We had a very comfortale stay in a large and roomy suite complete with soft leather loungers and a huge flat screen TV. The lighting and plumbing fixtures are so interesting and whimsical. Breakfast was delicious and the owners are a sweet and entertaining couple. More

We chose the Woodstocker Inn primarily because the owners have made particular efforts to create an eco-friendly environment with comfort and flare. Someone commented that they didn't think the comfort and room decor were worth the cost....I have stayed in many Inns, and often you find very old, musty furniture, rugs and accessories. David and Dora's attempt to update the... More

We liked this B&B a lot for it's uniqueness and more modern design. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to a family member. The only downside is the breakfast. We weren't aware that they only offer traditional British breakfasts and the choices did not appeal to us at all. Aside from that, it was a lovely... More

We are always keen to hear any comments from clients regarding their stay and thank them for taking the time to post on TripAdvisor. This is truly the only way that our lodging business can be informed and thus ensures we are being consistent with our aim of delivering high standards. We would like to clarify a small issue on... A good B&B to stay in if you're into a rather unique B&B experience. The owners are lovely folks. I would not say the room decor and comfort were worth the cost. The breakfast was quite good though offering more "American" fare in addition to the traditional UK foods would be helpful. The location is good and a close walk... More

We are delighted that these clients observed that we offer a difference of style with our accommodations. We also strive to be 'Not just another New England Inn'! Our now legendary breakfast, with all clients choosing options off a menu such as the 'Full Monty' or the even larger portioned 'Fat B*stard' seems to satisfy most clients expectations, and we... We had the fine experience of facing the worst of the hurricane from our front row seats at the inn. Water from the mountain behind the inn swept down the drive and threatened to flood the inn as the river in front crashed full speed ahead, breaking apart porches from houses, carrying propane tanks down river, tree limbs and even... This place is great. The trip was almost canceled due to the hurricane but they, in true British fashion, kept calm and carried on. They were awesome at communicating with us possible difficulties due to the water being down in the town and as soon as they had water were open and operational immediately. I wish I could list all... More
