The Woodstocker is a cosmopolitan experience not only because of the decor without the "country do-dads," but because the innkeepers are intelligent, great conversationalists, and excellent cooks. Dora and David are intuitively hospitable. They've created several welcoming spaces from the library to the sitting area with wood stove and exterior view, to the breakfast area with its wood tables and... More

Our aim at the Woodstocker Inn is to deliver consistent hospitality with attitude and personality. We also really appreciate all feedback, both critical and complimentary. When it is the latter, and folks get what our contemporary style of hospitality is about, the mutual results are satisfying. Our 'effortless style' comes from having passion and belief in what we do, and... More

My mom, sister, and I stayed here this past weekend, and over our two-day stay we fell absolutely in love. So many wonderful details - the library full of books to explore, the french press-only coffee making, the homemade treats, the English breakfast - all of this added to a most fun and interesting weekend. Quirky and fantastic!

"Quirky and Fantastic"....that we feel sums up our idea of hospitality! These delightful ladies plainly 'got' what our inn is about, with NO charges for any extra. Complimentary cakes baked by me, biscotti baked by Dora and any leftover sausages consumed with vigor by Daisy Doo! As to the fun that they had...well we do enjoy providing a relaxed adult... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Woodstocker for a winter getaway weekend each year for the past 5 years and always look forward to it with excited anticipation. We love the place! David and Dora are delightful innkeepers, who are very warm, welcoming, and full of helpful suggestions for local restaurants and places to explore. They make a... More

We discoverered the Woodstocker Inn via bedandbreakfast.com last spring. We have returned twice since our initial visit, and plan to become "regulars". The inn is very convenient to the Killington ski area, and is only 15 minutes from the SkyeShip lift. So it is in a perfect spot for both skiing and apres-ski, since the Woodstock town center is right... More

We sincerely thank these clients for their compliments. Since we took over the inn seven years ago, we established a standard that we still strive to offer, and high consistent standards are the secret of hospitality. From the convenient location, to the beautiful rooms (they look just like their pictures), our stay was top notch. We even were lucky enough to wake up to a magically snow blanketed town. Dora and David were wonderful in every way.

We stayed two nights at the Woodstocker Inn in October 2012. We stayed in the Bradford room which was wonderful - nice spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great - loved the shower! We really enjoyed relaxing in the library area after our busy days out and about. The breakfasts were lovely and we appreciated... More

Since retiring 11 years ago, we have stayed at over 150 fantastic B&Bs around the country, several of which have been in Vermont. Unfortunately, the Woodstocker Inn was not one of them and was instead our most disappointing B&B experience. For starters, they felt the need to charge our credit card within 10 minutes after we made the reservation -... More

After running into one “NO VACANCY” sign after another on a busy Saturday night in October, we were pointed in the direction of the Woodstocker Inn. Happily, there was one room left at this bright yellow home, and we tucked in for the night. Our hosts, Dora, David and Daisy Doo, made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped... More

I had a chance to stay in Woodstock for a few days for some well needed R and R. This property is exceptional. The owners are wonderful. The food and service was great. Worth the trip if you are looking for a get away. Ed from Dennis MA

We stayed for 2 nights as a mini-honeymoon at the beginning of November. Innkeepers were in Europe but had a wonderful couple filling in for them. Rooms were spacious, and we were offered an upgraded room, too. The best mattress I have ever slept on! Breakfast was delicious and offered something for everyone from the health-conscious to the meat eater.... More
