Just back from Seashells. Ideal location to visit the island. The bus stop is outside the hotel and for 2.60 euros you can travel any where all day. The number 12 goes to St Julian, Silema and Valletta, the X3 goes to Mdina and the 221 goes to Melliua and the Gozo ferry. Quick booking in at reception although you... More

We thank you for your review and recommendation of our hotel. You are right - the location is very good as a starting point for excursions. We are glad you enjoyed the Maltese food as well at It-Tokk Restaurant. We do not require guests to leave Euro50,- at reception if they leave their credit card details. Indeed in the case... More

Would recommend this lovely hotel to any traveller to Malta. The food is the best I have I had any any hotel I have stayed in Europe. With the best selection and quality of meals. Accommodations, staff and ambiance was all first class. Worth the little extra to book a sea view suite. Views are stunning. More

I have just got back from spending 7 nights in this hotel . The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The all inclusive was great, it catered for all tastes and diets. Location is good, you can get the bus anywhere on the island for €2.60. You certainly get more than you pay for. Be warned though the nature of... More

I stayed at the Seashells for 5 nights in early May on an all inclusive basis and was pleasantly surprised with how welcoming and nice the hotel was after reading some harsh reviews. I agree the rooms are a little tired and the food some evenings was a tad ropey but I always managed to find something. The breakfast was... More

Just returned from a week in the seashell resort. The rooms are quite shabby and basic but very clean. The balcony is really in bad condition. Could do with a lick of paint and a good scrub. Only 2 plastic chairs for 3 of us and no table. We booked through Thomas Cook who failed to inform us we needed... More

We thank you for your review and are glad that most of our staff made a good impression on you. The Reflections is on ground floor level and is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. The receptionist would know exaclty the level of music at the particular time because he is only a few metres away. For the readers' information,... More

We thank your for your review of our hotel. Yes indeed there is a charge for sea-view or even side sea-view rooms(this is slightly lower). Can you imagine what happens if there were no charge? We stayed at the Seashells hotel from 12th to 22nd March. The staff were very friendly and food was excellent, the hotel was very clean we got upgraded to a sea view apartment and was told by purple travel that an upgrade usually cost £300 extra the apartment we got was on the 5th floor and was facing north and... We thank you for your review. We are glad you appreciated your free sea view upgrade - this was possible because occupancy levels were not so high. We have had the toughest winter ever and March was not an exception - that is why the pool bar was not open. Arriving on the 12th March - that was only 2... More
