We loved this place. Susan was a helpful, generous hostess. The apartment was high quality, a very comfortable place to stay and tour the area. We spent 3 nights there touring several hill towns. Susan's breakfasts were sumptuous. We highly recommend staying there.

The owner had great suggestions of places to visit in the area - much better than the guide books. She was also very helpful in advising which wineries to visit. She went out of her way to call wineries and get us into tastings at the last minute. The rooms are very clean and affordable.

I stay at Casa Turrita every time I travel to Italy. It is ideally located in just outside Montefalco but still a short trip to many of Italy's bigger cities. Great views and even better hospitality from Susan, the propriotor. She is incredibly knowledgable about both attractions in the larger cities and about what small towns are worth the trip.... More
