We (party of 5) rented a 2 bedroom flat for 4 days at the Agriturismo Poderi Tognetti on the outskirts of Montaione and felt that for the price we paid, should have gotten a better deal.

The Agriturismo owns three different apartment complexes and the one where our flat was located was called 'Poderi Il Sapito'. The grounds were beautiful with flowers in full bloom and the smell of lavender wafting through the air. However, we thought the place was in disrepair. It did not provide the level of comfort we are accustomed to.

The flat was small and dark to start with. The floors being terracotta, soaked up stains from previous tenants which didn't leave a good impression. The bathroom was not spotless. The equipment in the kitchen was of poor quality and didn't look so clean. The fold out sofa bed on which my daughter was supposed to sleep was dirty when we opened it up so she ended up sleeping with us on our bed - 3 people in a double bed! We didn't bother to... more
