This is a very nice hotel that sits on the Gulf of Castellammare. The staff are very nice and helpful. There is a fluff laundry right up the street for any cleaning you might have. You can walk to nice restaurants and sight seeing. Our room for a family of four was very clean and adequate. More

We stayed there in early October, 2011 and booked a double room with a seaview terrace through www.booking.com. The room was small but enough for a couple, it was on the third floor and had a rather spaceful terrace facing the front square and the sea. It was very private with a plastic table and two chairs and a palm... More

If you're comfortable driving in old cities in Italy, with narrow lanes, you probably won't have any problems finding a better room for cheaper than at this hotel. We had originally found 2 other hotels to stay at, but couldn't contact them on our way in to town, and finding this hotel was the best alternative since it is located... More

It was ok for one night. we have to leave windows open because the smell of cigarette was awful. When you take a shower all the water floods the bathroom. Nice balcony though. Breakfast ok. I would not stay here in the future. The beach nearby is awfully dirty. The only good about the hotel is the staff. The receptionists... More

The hotel is ok, clean, quite friendly staff, the only issue I had, is that I called them on the phone before booking, just to ask how far it is from the beautiful beach in San Vito lo Capo, and they told me " the beach is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel". Then I realized that beach is... More

we booked this hotel the day before arrival during the busy tourist period. We found it in our Sicily guide book and it was our second choice. If we would have had access to intenet during our trip we would have most probably ended up somewhere else. But it was still a quiet hotel a bit like from some 80s... More

Nice location in the middle of charming Castellamare del Golfo in Sicily. The hotel itself is quite boring and uncharming with interior from the 90´s... E., Norway. More

Two-storey hotel located in the main square of the old city in Castellammare del Golfo, a gem of the Western Sicilian coast. Lobby is quite anonymously decorated as are the rooms, well maintained but a bit 80's style. The room was very big and clean as was the bathroom, towels and shower OK. Breakfast buffet was good, but if you're... More

Al Madarig Hotel's proximity to the A29 makes it a great base for exploring western Sicily. {3 stars}Al Madarig is only 15 minutes from Palermo international airport. It is located in Largo Petrolo directly facing the sea; at night you can hear the waves on the shore. The shoreline and the scenery are beautiful. Castellammare itself is a small town... More

This was the last night of our two week trip around Sicily. It was a total gem of a place with lovley rooms, nice helpful staff who spoke some English, Air con that worked, great food and I just wish that we had stayed longer. The restaurant was outside by the edge of the piazza, overlooking the bay, with a... More
