I read the previous reviews and discounted the ones related to construction - that's over now. Clean hotel, since it's been recently redone, as those who stayed here during it mentioned. But: I didn't read closesly on the reservation page of their website / I'm a guy and don't know the diffreence. They have only double size beds. Those are... more

I travel worlwide and stay in a lot of differnt hotels. The Tria was very nice in that the room was clean and spacious (especially compare to some Euro hotels) and the price was great. Boston is an extremely expensive city to stay and as this was a 'last minute' trip, I used 'last minute hotels' and was less then... more

By great location I mean within easy walking distance (about a half mile, including some uphill and downhill on an overpass so if you have heavy luggage it'd be a travail) of an MBTA station, the Red Line Alewife station in this case. At $139 (plus tax) this was the cheapest hotel that I could find that was close to... more

Stayed at the Hotel Tria recently on pleasure trip to Boston. While the hotel is undergoing renovation, the new rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The best feature however was the friendly and accommodating staff, quick to offer directions, suggestions for activities, and arranging tour activities. The hotel offered a courtesy shuttle back and forth from Harvard Square and... more

This was our third hotel stay since travelling from NYC to Western MA to Cambridge on vacation with my husband. Of the three hotels we stayed at, with one being a resort, this was by far the best hotel stay. We would highly recommend staying here. There is a breakfast and shuttle. Next door is a Whole Foods:) Despite their... more

Construction going on everywhere. Gym is closed at the moment (but they don't tell you that when you reserve a room). They have a deal with a gym a short drive away but it closes early. Rooms are barely ok once you unplug the incredibly noisy fridge. The lone staff has a general don't care attitude. more

This place was a real disappointment. I saw the Trip Advisor reviews after booking. I often find these reviews are written by malcontents, but these reviews were on the mark. The hotel is being renovated and it is in disrepair. It is very musty. The guests on my floor acted like they have never stayed in a hotel and were... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as part of a package with the Museum of Science. The hotel was as expected for what we paid. They were undergoing renovations so it was a bit of a mess, but will look great when finished. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.... more

Hotel Tria is located right off a busy round-about and highway, but there are 2 entrances so if you miss the first you can enter through the starbucks lot which connects directly. There is a stripmall located right next door with a whole foods. This hotel has a great location, from the hotel its a five minute walk to the... more

Terrible hotel, terrible staff. We found a dead cockroach in our room, which smelled musty and unclean. Also, they wanted to charge us $12 a night for parking and refused to give us a smoking room. We had to fight to get our money back. We saved money by staying at the Holiday Inn, which was clean and had a... more
