Beautiful building, lovely room, fairly friendly staff, but breakfast was terrible (limited choice, poor quality products), poor quality, very limited toileteries in the bathroom. Very thin walls, TV and people noise from downstairs until past 1am. Breakfast very cramped around one table. more

Described as a "boutique" hotel and fairly expensive, even by Iceland standards, I was disappointed. Being old doesn't make it charming. Characterful old wooden building that makes a good stop-over point. We had a small but comfortable room. Breakfast was limited, but good quality. The hotel has a restaurant with a fixed menu each night, but we ate in town, in one of the 3 or 4 restaurants and cafes just 5 mins walk away. more
