My husband has found himself working in Lohmar Germany this year. He has been home only 6 weeks since February and at his home away from home at the Kranz Park in Siegburg the rest of the time. He tried one of the other hotels in Siegburg when the Kranz was booked but quickly returned the the Kranz. I have had the pleasure of staying here just once so far but I am returning next week. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It is privately owned by 2 brothers, and you will almost always find one Heir Kranz or the other on the property. The Kranz is a 4 story hotel, not an Inn or a B&B. It's extremely clean, friendly English speaking staff willing to go the extra mile for every guest and very comfortable. Breakfast is usually included and is great and if you visit the bar on the top floor, you will find Jasmine and Gueto very welcoming. Siegburg is a bit off the beaten tourist trail but worth it for some R & R and a very pleasant experience. I know I am looking... more
