I only stay here when I occasionally have to be in Anchorage during the price-gouging summer months. I have had decent stays in the past (ok with keeping my expectations low), but this stay was the worst. I got to my room around 10pm. 1. No fan in hot and stuffy upstairs room as my other stays have had. The only way to bring fresh air into the room is to open the shade and window, but that means no privacy. When the light is on a phalanx of RVs can see into the room. 2. No toilet paper. None. Not good when discovered late at night. 3. Filthy room. Bed linens were clean and bathroom was spotless except for the shower curtain, thus the higher rating for the room overall. 4. Noise at night from other guests. I would have called the front desk but no phone in room. Not worth looking number up, as the night clerk barely had a pulse when I earlier had asked where the ice machine was - no ice, of course. I doubt he would have moved from his chair to quiet the disruption.…

Broken fan, broken lamps, broken towel rack, broken light switch cover, broken kitchen drawer (when we informed the receptionist, she said, "Do you need it?), bare bulbs in lamps, peeling paint, dirty bathroom, curtain rod with no curtain, light cover with exposed insulation, smoke alarm stuffed with plastic bag, cigarette burn in blanket in nonsmoking room, worn pillows. Staff did provide lampshades and workable fan when we asked.Receptionist told us the inn had let the homeless use rooms for several years.

This hotel treated me very poorly and refused to refund me my money for a night when my flight to Alaska was cancelled. Initially they said they would and needed Expedia to confirm the waiver but once I got Expedia on the phone with them they said no and pointed to Expedia's policies. I was caught in between Expedia and Creekwood with both pointing to the other. Terrible customer service. BEWARE BOOKING WITH THIS HOTEL!

Our flight got in at 11 pm, so we were looking for a cheap place to sleep for the night before we left in the morning. We never felt unsafe, but if you choose to stay here, its a bit less of a formal check in/accommodation than you might find wirh a chain hotel. No A/C.

Looked for a place to stay for one night before our flight out of Anchorage. As hotels are expensive in Anchorage we chose Creekwood Inn. Should have been a warning sign that the price was just over $100. The receptionist was friendly and forthcoming, but the motel is a dump. It needs buckets of paint, new furnitaure, new bedlinnen ('plastic' sheets, worn out cover), new bathroom, new curtains, new walls to prevent you share your room with the other guests as it has cardboard walls. TV had no remote control and only 1 channel, kitchen had plates with still water on it. Good ventilation and fresh air to replace the stale smell of an old frying pan. We gladly left the premises..

Near downtown and female employee was nice. That is the only good review we have. Besides that, one of the male employees was rude on the telephone, be aware of the outside surroundings with the locals, room was a room, & no hot water in the bathroom sink.

I said actually I just did, but expedia said only 1 bed in the room type available. He said don't lye, this is bull shy, he sees there is many rooms available. Don't waste his fckn time, fckn this and sit that etc.. What?????? My first experience in Alaska, thanks!

Stayed here due to its price, very cheap. We quickly learned that cheap is what you get. The place in general was not very clean our room although “cleaned” was not clean. Staff member was sound asleep at checkout even after timing the bell 3 times Don’t stay here!!

I LOVED staying here. All the clerks were SO NICE especially the woman who was super accommodating and beyond helpful. The rooms were a bit warm but she let me use a box fan for free and it helped SO much. She even printed off bus lines for us, gave us tips and directions and was just the best. If I ever make it to Anchorage again I'll definitely stay here. It wasn't upscale by any means but it was perfectly comfy and had everything we needed.

We have stayed at the Creekwood many times over the past eleven years. Our last trip was three years ago and it was fantastic. We went with our camper and stayed there for three days and could not believe how bad the place has become. The men's shower was filthy! There were USED bandages in both of the shower stalls!!!! Someone had cut their hair and the hair was on the floor all three days as well. The three days we stayed there, they were not cleaned at all. The women's shower was just as bad. One shower did not work and the other was filthy, and a toilet was overflowing and full of waste and would not flush. All through the night, there was cars, trucks and motorcyles stopping by an RV, spending a few moments there then leaving. You can draw your own conclusions as to what was going on there but I am sure it was drug dealing. There were homeless people constantly walking through the campground as well. We will NEVER stay there again.…
