My husband and I spent a week traveling through Alaska, before our southbound cruise to Vancouver. The last two nights, 12 and 13 September, were spent at A Wildflower Inn, thanks to TA recommendations! We had a rental car, and as we approached the Inn (not knowing this was were we were going to be staying!), I commented to my... More

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the Wildflower Inn during our trip to Anchorage this past May. We book-ended our trip to Alaska in Anchorage and stayed at the Wildflower Inn for 2 nights at the beginning and 2 nights at the end of the trip; both were great and very comfortable. We stayed in the Lupine... More

This is a wonderful B&B just a few blocks from the center of downtown Anchorage. We stayed in the Lupine Suite for two nights and were quite pleased. Larry is a terrific host (we only met Allan briefly) who makes a great breakfast and loves to share his knowledge of the area. Our suite was two rooms -- one with... More

Two nights, two delicious gourmet breakfasts, pots and pots of good coffee, comfy beds, and hosts that I want as my new best friends. Loved it. More

I stayed for 3 nights at the Wildflower Inn during my recent trip to Canada and Alaska and really enjoyed it. Allan was so welcoming and always keen for a chat, so I felt very comfortable, like I was staying at a home away from home. The location is good - no more than a 10 minute walk to the... More

Comfortable rooms, great bed, and yummy breakfasts which catered to gluten free and vegetarian with ease. Friendly, happy helpful hosts, easy walk to down town. What more could you wish for, highly recommended. More

We stayed for one night, arriving in Anchorage mid-evening on the railroad. Although the host had advised us it was walkable from the station, it was a long haul with backpacks, I would not recommend it unless you are very fit or a masochist. However, when we eventually made it, Allan was very welcoming and showed us the lounge, dining... More

My wife and I stayed here one night prior to a cruise. Couldn't have found a nicer place to stay. Clean , comfortable and within walking distance (for us) of downtown. The two guys that run the place were gone for a couple of days but their mom took over and was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and made an excellent breakfast.... More

We were only in Anchorage for one night with an early flight the next morning. Alan and Larry are friendly, helpful and attentive, providing comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation. We had an early flight so they gave us a breakfast to go which was great. A longish walk into the City centre but not too bad. More

We had a group of six and the owners opened both bedroom suites upstairs so we could have three bedrooms and two baths in addition to an additional private sitting room. The B&B was open and inviting to us all and included free wi-fi. Larry made some wonderful breakfasts each morning to get us up and going on our vacation.... More
