A really fun place to stay in Anchorage - just minutes from the airport.. Lake Hood is a seaplane base and the inn is on the lake. Some rooms have a balcony where you can sit and watch the floatplanes arriving and departing. If you do not have one of these rooms there is a shared balcony for other guests.... more
