Stayed four nights while on business in January 2012. I highly recommend requesting a higher floor to enjoy the awesome views (you will not be disappointed). When I am in Anchorage this is my hotel of choice. Well managed, friendly staff, centrally located for the business trip or as a tourist. Also a great concierge level and club room, only in town ! I understand that the interior is going to have a complete make over this year which should make it even better. More

I travel frequently to Anchorage on business, and anytime I have meetings downtown I choose to stay at the Downtown Marriott. It is hands-down the best hotel in the city. Great rooms with nice view of mountains. Gym and pool were good. Breakfast Buffet was good but expensive. Maid service was excellent. We had 5 rooms with no complaints. More

Real nice rooms and set up. Staffs are very courteous and service minded. I really liked the gym and swimming pool available early morning before 6:30 AM. The only draw back was the high price for wifi when other hotels has it complimentary. More
