Looking for a place to stay in Anchorage last summer was a bit discouraging, since hotels were on the pricy side and their reviews were terrible. From looking at Trip Advisor booking info it seemed like most B&Bs were booked, but I took a chance and contacted a few directly. City Garden looked nice and was available for the 4... More

My husband and I totally loved the quaint B&B! THe location is within walking distance to downtown anchorage and has more than ample roadside parking. The rooms are elegant, bathrooms super clean with amenities all ready and waiting. Everything is simply perfect! The host we got was Rick and he was like a really nice "temporary-alaskan-grandpa"! Breakfast made every morning... More

My wife and I stayed at City Garden during a one night layover in Anchorage on our way to a cruise. It is the nicest bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed at. The entire house was clean, cheerful and inviting. We stayed in the room with the en suite bath. The room was bright and cheerful with a... More

This was Diana & my first time staying in a B&B, We were made to feel at home with our hosts Vic & Jerry. If you want a varied & tasty breakfast as well as the option of as early as 5-30am. Then this is the place. Rooms were comfortable , clean & quiet. Vic is a wealth of things... More

My husband and I had such a great stay here. Vic was a wonderful and knowledgeable host. Breakfast was superb, the room was comfortable, and the bathroom was perfectly clean. We loved the quietness and coziness of the house and absolutely recommend City Garden to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Anchorage area. We did not have... More

After planning for last minute trip to Alaska we chose the City Garden B&B for 2 of our overnite stays in Anchorage. We did several trips out of Anchorage & if City Garden would've been available for the other overnites in Anchorage we would've stayed there instead of the hotels that left much to be desired & were greatly overpriced.... At first I came to this beautiful B&B to stay here for five nights in July. The B&B is really close downtown, it takes about 5 min to walk over there. The house/rooms are very nice and has a nice interior design. It is also a peaceful and quiet place to stay. Can’t forget to mention that the rooms are... More

We were in the CG for 3 nights during our trip to AK in August. We split our stay in two as we were two days at the beginning of our trip and the last one before taking our flight back to Seattle. As we get there the last day it was liked arriving home again! Victor made our stay... More

My friend had read about this place in a tour guide and we were very pleased with everything about our stay. The bed was super comfy, the room airy and clean, and the breakfast delicious. Vic, our host, is a very well traveled person and could also direct us to things to see and places to eat in the Anchorage... More

Located in downtown Anchorage, near shoreline, and near a park. The breakfast was good, the host was very accommodating and shared his knowledge of Anchorage and Alaska with us. He made excellent recommendations for where to eat and what to see. The rooms were clean, spacious and lovely. More
