Spent a lovely couple of nights here. We had a front-facing room, right in the heart of the city. The room had real character, as did the bathrooms, and the breakfast room was just beautiful. The sweet little dog made it feel like home from home! More

I persuaded my wife to take a chance with this B&B. The website write-ups were so inviting. It was awful! Quaint it might be but everything about it is well past its sell-by date. The bedrooms were small, with no-where to put clothes or wet towels. The bathroom facilities were old and 'musty'. Only two (of the three on 2nd... More

They want you out early, the smell of someone dumping a bottle of lysol around the bathroom at 8:30am on Saturday and Sunday was like being gassed by ammonia. The closet was dusty, and had some exposed air ducting with dirt like someone had forgotten to replace the wall. No provision for hanging our damp towels, so we had to... More

Our family of four fell in love with Pensione Nichols the moment we arrived at the charming front door. I felt like we were on the Boulevard St. Michel in Paris as the Pensione is reminiscent of the lovely old Left Bank lodgings there. The front door security system is excellent and even though it is located in the heart... More

Right in the thick of it all, this charming place is clean as a whistle with very friendly folks and comes at a fair price, considering the location. Don't miss the pike place market or the underground tour -- enjoy! More

PENSIONE NICHOLS is a unique Seattle bed and breakfast, ideally situated in downtown Seattle's historic Pike Place Market. Cozy and comfortable, we loved visiting with Lindsey and her guests, while having a fruit filled breakfast. Enjoy! More

We loved the character of the house, the location, and the cleanliness. We also had access to the view of the harbor from the great, comfortable living room, which made us feel at home and where we met very nice people. The rooms are very bright, and quiet enough (our windows gave on 1st Ave.). Our bed was very comfortable,... More

We love Pensione Nichols. It is on !st Avenue just up the street from Emmett Watson's Oyster Bar and The Pink Door tow of Seattle's most fun places to eat. The Pensione has lovely rooms which are lit by windows or skylights and while one shares bathrooms, there are plenty of them to share and we have never run into... More

I love this hotel in many ways. It is not a cookie cutter place. It has tons of character, it's in a great neighborhood, there is a resident dog (last time I was there), has an amazing view from the common room, nice staff, and interesting people tend to stay here. On the down side, the breakfast is just OK... More

We had not tried a pensione type B&B but this was nice. Very easy to find, use the recommended parking garage if needed. Right next to the Pike Place Market, easy walking to downtown, monorail access to Space Needle, walkable to the harbor ferries. Nice view of harbor from family room and as noted, she served the most wonderful breakfast... More
