I have been to this property a number of times over the years but this is the first time in quite a awhile. The rooms a very nice and many with views of the bay and the Seattle waterfront. It is close to Pike’s Place Market, Alaskan Way/Waterfront, the Aquarium, and not too far from public transportation. If you can use public transportation, it will save you a lot of money for the hotel’s expensive valet only parking. It is possible to get to the hotel on the light rail from the airport, if you are willing to walk about six blocks from the Westlake Center stop. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant, though we only had the breakfast buffet (it was excellent), as there are so many great restaurant choices in the area. The big disappointment was the Executive Lounge, now called the “M Club” by Marriott. It is not very large and off the lobby. The food options were very poor both in the morning (the morning the hotel restaurant was closed) and the evening. Beverages were minimal and while there was a place for beer and wine it was not in use or available. It was not kept clean, there were crumbs and dirty tables. Having visited many Marriott lounges, this is in the running for the worst, this higher end hotel has to do better.

The Seattle Marriott Waterfront is simply an awesome property to stay at while in Seattle. We flew in to attend a Seahawks home game and found this hotel to be the perfect blend of location & comfort. Located @ 1.5 miles from Lumin field, it was a quick scooter ride away. The property was very clean, well taken care of, and the rooms were very comfortable. I really liked the wood'ish flooring with throw rugs, really felt cleaner than carpeted floors that are normally found in hotel rooms. The restaurant was good, especially for breakfast, and the market place was convenient when we came back to the hotel in the evenings. There is a great breakfast place in the World Trade Center West, across the parking lot from the hotel entrance, and a fantastic seafood restaurant across the street. Other eateries are close in downtown Seattle as well, so there are great choices to eat near the hotel. We took a five minute scooter ride for some of the best sushi I've had since being in Japan. Uber made it easy to get to a Kraken NHL game while we were in town as well ... again, the hotel was centrally located between the NHL and NFL venues. Also, located very close to the Pikes Place Market, easy walking distance, or scooter ride ... just a great location and comfortable property. Lastly, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful ... all-in-all, the Seattle Marriott Waterfront was the anchor point to an extremely enjoyable trip to Seattle. It is our first choice when visiting Seattle! Very highly recommended!

I stayed at the Marriott because I was scheduled to embark on a cruise that left from downtown Seattle. I intentionally did not reserve a room with a view because large cruise ships anchor across from the hotel. I assumed that would harm the view. However, I was wrong. One ship pulls in a day, lets off passengers, gets more and leaves. It's a good thing that I was upgraded to a view room, because I was able to appreciate a view of Puget Sound. The room was a good size with a small balcony. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the hotel quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location of being both at the waterfront and just a short walk to Pike Place Market make this an ideal location for me. Jazz fans will find its just a 10 or 15 minute walk to Jazz Alley.

We went to Seattle for a NFL game. The hotel is located within walking distance to the stadium. In addition, close to the Pike Place Market and several good restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean. The wait staff in the breakfast area are efficient and friendly. The only two negatives are the fact that the nearby trains can be heard through the night and also the surroundings get very crowded when the cruise ships dock in front of the hotel.

Rooms have been beautifully renovated. Hotel is in great shape with many places to gather for business or pleasure. One of the few remaining properties that has a dedicated loyalty lounge with breakfast, snacks and drinks all day, and a fantastic selection of hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Very impressed with all, including a warm and friendly staff.

Stayed 1 night before our NCL cruise in a King room. Average, smaller room. In-Room coffeemaker. Kinda pricey, even with Marriott rate. No senior rate offered. They’re was a train track behind the hotel and a walking pathway right outside our window. (I guess that’s what you get when booking the cheapest room.) CAN’T beat walking across the street to the pier for your cruise though!

This is a convenient, safe and clean hotel, probably the most convenient location for anyone disembarking, and close enough to the heart of the city. I experienced a good stay here and special thanks to Ellie, a highly professional and courteous manager. M1 Lounge and bar also a credit

Stayed here for a cruise departure and it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at The staff went above and beyond for Me and my fiancee. We just got engaged the day before and when we got to our room they brought us a bottle of champagne and a marriot gift package with travel bags and travel thermos. Khoa was was working that nite and he was awesome. He took care of us and made our trip 100 times better. Thank u marriot and Khoa. Next time I'm in Seattle I will be staying here. Beautiful location on the waterfront and around all the fun stuff to do there. Its near the piers and Perfect for cruise departure and returns.

Great location and very nicely appointed for a hotel which must get a lot of convention-type business. Warning...there is a lot of construction taking place in the area (OCT '23) so, if it's not within walking distance...park and use an Uber/Lyft. Too much hassle trying to drive and park. Efficient and friendly staff. Not all rooms have a waterfront view. Ask for one. NOTE: its' across from cruise ship pier so time your arrival/departure to avoid those crowds if possible

Our first disappointingly stay at a Marriot hotel. We arrived in the evening from the Clipper sailing from Victoria BC. We checked into a lovely room. Went to the lobby bar for food & drink. The bar was very busy only one bartender (who did his best). There was a large party of business men with an open tab who continuly asked for drinks. Giving no one else a chance to be served. However after 15 minutes wait we had to make a fuss to get served. This is not what we expect at the price we paid. Why was the on duty manager not sorting situation? But at least we had a lovely Marriot breakfast to look forward to. Sadly again we were let down. Breakfast buffet only available at weekend. The breakfast menu did not live up to the usual buffet choice, even had to pay for coffee separately. This not what we expect from a Marriot hotel, we pay the extra to get the extra not the basics.
