I think that the only way we would stay again is if we were to stay in one of the king rooms. We stayed in a street level room that was very cramped and without a bathroom. Not having an en suite was not so much an issue but we had no idea that was the case when we booked... More

Cute little inn with lots of character. The rooms are pretty basic; however, you should be aware that many of the rooms share bathrooms down the hall. If noise bothers you, ask for a room in the back, away from the road. It was pretty noisy with a vibrant night life right outside. Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars close... More

I decided to stay at Ballard Inn while visiting for my friends wedding because it was close to where the reception was for the wedding. Upon arrival, we were pleased to see that the Inn was a former bank and had a lot of charm. However, we were also made aware that our room did not have a bathroom, something... More

I stayed in April 2012 for 4 night and could not fault the hotel on anything. It had everything I needed. Clean, bright , comfortable bed and the staff were really so lovely and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again. The area is really great with lots to do - dining, bars etc. - stay here if you... More

We stayed here for one night during the week. The location, if you are interested in being in Ballard, is awesome. You can walk easily to great restaurants and nightclubs and a movie theater. There are few hotels in the neighborhood so this is "the leader" in a pack of one as far as I am concerned. We stayed in... More

Stayed here on two occasions. Once for business and once because I bought a Living Social voucher that I never got to use. Since this is the only hotel in Ballard it doesn't really leave much for options. They are nice rooms though. The staff is very friendly, which is nice. I would recommend the King rooms upstairs which are... More

This hotel was fashioned out of an old bank building built in the early 1900s. It has old world character with a clean look. The room was very clean, had nice simple amenities, very comfortable bed and pillows. I had a room with a bathroom that was as nice and clean as the rest of the room. The staff was... More

The rooms are extremely nice and the beds are very comfortable. Yet there is no phone to call the desk and no chair to speak of in the room. The room I stayed in had a shared bathroom which was not a big deal to me. It was clean and had higher end fixtures. To me the rooms seem overpriced... More

The Ballard Inn is charming and wonderful place – a friendly and helpful staff, clean and exceptionally designed rooms and common areas, and in a great neighborhood (restaurants, coffee, gym, etc. just steps away). It reminds me of some of the smaller hotels in Europe I have visited.

We found out after we booked that only four of the rooms have private baths . . . and ours wasn't one of them. Turned out that it wasn't that big of a deal, as there were three bathrooms in the hall (two full w/ showers, one half) within a few steps of the room. Hotel is a restored, turn-of-the-century...
