I have stayed here 3 or 4 times on both business and pleasure. What makes this hotel unique is that you can't imagine how quiet and peaceful it is. and it is less than a stone's throw from SEATAC.
The grounds are beautiful; the rooms spartan but comfortable. I think i read somewhere that this was originally a training facility...

You are correct, Cedabrook Lodge was indeed a training facility for WaMu and officially opened to the public in late 2009.

You will never know you're near the airport when you see this gem of a hotel! Nestled into a wooded area, it will feel like a lodge in the middle of the mountains. It is a lovely choice if you need to be near the airport.
It is very clean, has upscale decor, lovely sheets/bedding, and the rooms are great....

Not exactly central to the city but if you need an airport hotel that does not feel like one then this is it. Love the free snacks (minted malted milk balls, chocolate covered nuts, ice cream, water), it is also a pretty serene place to sit around and relax.
