I wanted to be a tourist in Seattle for the full day before heading home to Sacramento the next morning. The Inn at Virginia Mason was suggested to me by Hotels.com. I am a 62 year old woman traveling solo this trip and wanted some place within walking distance to shops, sights, bus etc. Upon my arrival at about 10:00am,... More

Great rooms! Very spacious. This place is breathing history! There is a 4 Seasons Cafe and a Tully's Coffee stand in house. The staff was super polite and very accomodating. Any time I goto Seattle, I am staying here. More

Good Morning and thank you so much for your nice comments! We're delighted that you enjoyed our quiet and rich with history location. Built in the 1920's, the Inn at Virginia Mason was originally the Rhododendron Apartments. This was in the day when living in the First Hill-Capitol Hill area was the best address to have! The Inn still has... More

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I did business in Seattle for a week and needed a quiet, clean place to stay. Every one of the staff I came across was courteous, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is attached to the hospital, and I ate most of my meals at the hospital cafeteria which was priced right... More

I recently stayed at the Inn at Viginia Mason on a business trip for the first time. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. It was charming, quiet, roomy, and offered much more than I ever expected. The Rhododedron Restaurant adjacent to the lobby had excellent food and service. I can't wait to stay at the Inn @ VM... Recently I stayed at the inn at Virginia Mason in Seattle. I usually stay at the Inn at the Market near the Public Market, but this time I had business at Virginia Mason Medical center, so I chose to stay close by. While the Inn at Virginia Mason is an old hotel, it is kept very clean and tidy, and... More

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your comments. We are working hard to provide our guests with a relaxing , "old-style charm" experience. I just wanted you to know that we are in the process of updating our televisions to flatscreens and should be finished with this project by the end of July (of this year!). We are also... More

I was in Seattle on business and stayed at the Inn as it was right there at the Hospital that I was working at. I was somewhat concerned and did not know what to expect for $100/night in Seattle. The Inn is not plush with comfort but has an older charm of its own. Everything was clean and kept in... More

We searched on line for somewhere to stay in Seattle for a LONG time. It seemed all the choices were either very expensive and fancy or a little less expensive with shared bathrooms/no parking/other issues. We settled on Inn at Virginia Mason and it was a great choice. It's one of the lower cost hotels in downtown Seattle, the parking... More

This is not some tricked out fancy hotel with a thousand pillows on the bed and a spa tub. It is however a comfortable, simple, even plain hotel with a charming small restaurant on the first floor. The rooms are average size. There is a TV. There is no air conditioning, but I got a fan and managed to keep... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived, there were hairs on the bathroom floor, which we complained about; they were cleaned up. There were also toenail clippings by the night table on one side of the bed; they might have been hard to reach with a vacuum since they were close to the night table, but should have... More
