We've stayed here twice now, once on a cycling tour and once while travelling by car to Italy. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, some with good views of the Abbey. We also dined in the restaurant and particularly enjoyed the "Poulet de Bresse". A "digestif" was offered and gratefully accepted - all in all a very good experience.

Poor reviews from 2009 and earlier can be disregarded, as the hotel has changed ownership since then. What a difference! Gone are the tired carpets and peeling wallpaper, and best of all, gone are the indifferent and rude management staff.
