The B&B seems to be newly renovated and is really beautiful. The essentials are done very well - great bed, soft sheets, terrific shower, and a very laid back and easy-going owner. A very enjoyable stay. The owners really left you alone so you get peace and quiet. more

The rooms (or small suites) are very roomy and quite nice. The view from the lower level is ok, but not spectacular considering we were in Seward and nice to get out and walk along the rocky beach. Hosts are nice but not around a lot. It is a make your own breakfast and the breakfast is adequate but nothing... more

The Low-Tide room at the Paddle Inn is not only clean, functional, comfortable and affordable for 2 or 3 persons, it is a work of art with architectural and decorative surprises popping out wherever you look. To top it off, our hosts, Alan and Alison were welcoming, accommodating, helpful and courteous. We only stayed 2 nights but would have stayed... more

We stayed in the Lower Tide Room for two nights in early August. The current photos and information previously given on this site are accurate. The rooms are nicely decorated and you can see all of the artsy touches which Alan and Alison have put into this fine Inn. We were left pretty much on our own for the 2... more

The Inn is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Alaska. The view is awesome! I sat many hours just enjoying the changing scenery from the very comfortable setting of the Inn. My hosts were friendly, gracious, and most accommodating. more

We spent a week in Alaska in July 2009. Our trip was supposed to go from Anchorage to Denali to Seward to Homer to Anchorage. But we woke up one morning to Alan knocking at the door telling us the road was wiped out and we couldn't get our car out for the next few days. At first I was... more

I love this place. If you love attention to detail and true craftsmanship, plus excellent, personalized, over-the-top service, stay with Alan and Alison at the Alaska Paddle Inn. What a beautiful building they've built with a five star view, and the decor is quality Alaska. The shower will blow you away! Most recently I stayed here with family over the... more

We stayed at the Alaska Paddle Inn for two nights July 31st and August 1st. We stayed in the Low Tide Room. Alan and Alison were very helpful in making our accommodations very comfortable even with 6 of us in the one room. This is a beautiful Inn with an amazing stone shower that is worth the stay on it's... more

We stayed at the Alaska Paddle in for one night in July, 2009. We were in the High Tide room (upstairs). The room has an incredible view of Resurrection Bay (just across the road) and the mountains and a glacier just over the bay. There is a small dining table set to look out the large picture windows. There is... more
