From the location to the fireplace and the jacuzzi. The warmth of the room was just perfect. Wake up look outside the window to see the beautiful snowy mountains. Debra was a great host and was able to help us with all of our needs. We will definitely be staying here again can't wait till next time.

I rented the Rosehips suite for 3 days while we were in Seward fishing and sightseeing. This is a large section of a guesthouse located in the residential section of Seward. It's within walking distance of downtown and a short car ride to the boat harbor. This suite had a lot of room. Full kitchen, living room, and dining room... More

Earlier this month my wife and I stayed in the Quonset Hut that Debra, who owns and operates Alaska's Point of View, has named "Moonshine". We were surprised by the comfortable living space inside and what a unique place to stay it was. We stayed for three nights. It had a full kitchen and even had a washer and dryer.... More

1. I am partial to staying in B&B's because I believe the place reflects on the owner/s. Therefore their is generally a great deal of quality and good service. Thus, I was totally astounded to find out that a hot breakfast (not even a cold breakfast) was not part of my stay. Needless to say, I've stayed in B&B's in... More

I think we have succeeded in this as evidenced by the large amount of guests who return and stay at Alaska's Point of View. I quote you, "I felt the bed was very comfy. The... More

Nathan and I work hard. About as hard as anyone else and we knew we deserved a getaway. A previous person had mentioned all the notes were intimidating? WOW. This place was nothing but relaxing, friendly and the owner and keeper, Deb was really nice and definitely not overbearing or hovering as we have encountered at other B&Bs. Everything was... More

Thank you for your review on Trip Advisor. I would like to clear up a few of your comments so they do not miss lead other guests. Yes, we are located a few blocks from downtown Seward. The mile area from downtown Seward to the boat harbor are all located in the original Seward townsite. So we have mixed together... More

One of the best parts of our Alaska trip was staying in the WWII moonshine-quonset hut. My husband loved the idea(ex.Marine). The view and having your own 14+ rabbits in the yard--it just doesn't get any better than that. Thanks Debra for a great stay.

Alaska's Point of View offers many different locations within Seward; we stayed in the WWII Quonset - Sunshine Hut. Our hearts sank a little when we arrived - it looked tiny and was surround by uninspiring gravel area with a few rabbits running around, but when inside we were surprised just how roomy it was, with a large double bedroom... When i looked at Alaska’s Point of View website, i had several places to choose from. the were all so tempting, but since i didnt have anyone other than myself on this trip, i decided to experience a WWII Quonset Hut, theres two of them, and i chose the Moonshine Hut, as that was the available one at the time....
