This is a delightful little vacation rental (not a hotel) full of Alaskan history. A railcar has been used to create the main length of the house, with new construction on each side for the sleeping rooms. The Hamptons were beautifully appointed. I was more comfortable than I expected at the Alaska Hamptons! I frequently travel to Seward for it's natural beauty and have stayed in most of the hotels and B&Bs in Seward. I was pleasantly surprised with what I got for the bucks! Mismatched flea market furniture, not a comfortable seat in the house. Mismatched cupboards and granite in the kitchen. Bathroom like a dowdy redo. Lots of advertised items were broken, as in - dishwasher, instant hot water, culligan drinking water tap, dryer door. Vindictive review - absolutely nothing to do with property, everything to do with problem guest. Property was fine until guest trashed it. Should have charged for damage/stolen items. Just happy to have the guest leave. More
