i was really disapointed to find out that the hotel was under construction and the pool was closed, the staff was very nice and the rooms are awesome cant wait to see what it will look like when finished more

Our family enjoyed our stay at the King Kam. The room was lovely, coffee maker and refrigerator in room, and balcony all very convenient. The staff were friendly. We loved feeling a part of the history of Hawaii, and the luau was amazing. more

This hotel needs a facelift in the lobby area, but once you're in the rooms, they're awesome. Very comfy beds and great flat screen tvs. My only complaint was that the bathroom smelled like an old moldy towel, which I presume came from the moldy shower curtain. Awesome location. There is a nice pool and a small beach (by Hawaii standards) right out back, but the real attraction is it's proximity to the heart of Kona and Alii Drive. Renovations are ongoing.
