The resort is for families perfect although it can be at night sometimes very noisy. Great location. Two outdoor swimming pools, one indoor. Playgrounds, mini go-cards, trampolines. Rooms nice and tidy, air-conditioning. Bungalows have nice terrace, some private (although open) grass and grill. Convenient connection to Umag (minitrain, 1.5 euro per person). The minimarket (Konzum) is open 7-22. There are 3 restaurants, but the buffet gets boring very fast and a’la carte is rather expensive... More

There are two a' la carte restaurants in our resort, „Amfora“ in Sol Amfora, and „Ô-Grille“ in Melia Istrian Villas. Had a really great time at this place. were there for 2 weeks and kids never got bored. Apartment was nice and spacious (if it had a kettle that would be better though). Lots of activities and kids club was really well run with friendly staff. Nice restaurants in Umag nearby and a couple of nice ones in complex too... More

Sol Amfora is a part of Stella Maris Resort. It's very big with lots of facilities, activities, swimmingplaces, restaurants and shops. You get everything you need at the resort and don't have to go outside at all during the week. We stayed at the Amfora resort for a week in July (three adults and two children) and found it fantastic! I've very surprised at the negative reviews and can only attribute that to personal taste which of course differs. We stayed at the Premium appartement Sol Amfora from 30.06. until 10.07. 2011. These appartements are a part of a big resort Stella Maris.
