This motel is very ordinary. The rooms are old and the decor is very outdated, dingey and unclean. The walls are paper thin and the traffic noise awful. The Harmony is not the typical motel/hotel that I generally stay in when traveling and I was a bit skeptic when we arrived to check in. We stayed one night on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. The hotel was fine, convenient to the park. The hotel was pretty well maintained, but definitely dated. The bathroom in particular was very small. They did have a hot tub, which was nice and internet access. A decent value if you don't mind an older roadside motel. more

The Harmony Motel doesn't look like much from the Twentynine Palms Highway, but - especially at night - the twinkly back garden is magical. With a hot tub and a pool open late for some stargazing, and all the rooms facing east for amazing sunrises, there's just something really special about this place. We came on our way from Vegas to LA. its a bit of a detour but worth it just for the U2 connection. wish we could have got there earlier and spent the afternoon chilling but didnt get there til sunset.
