I had left it late to book an overnight in Semmering and the Panhans was full (it was a public holiday weekend). Artis was second choice. It is an anomaly in Semmering since it is a square box type of mid-range business hotel that looks as though it should be in downtown Vienna. How it got planning permission beats me.... More

We stayed at the Hotel for just 2 nights. We arrived quite early (10.30) from Vienna Airport and were allowed to check in at once. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would not mind sitting in smoky bars and hotel lobbies. Excellent views but the hill leading to this hotel can be very icy.Food is very good, staff is helpful. More
