In general I enjoyed my stay at this hotel Food was good, room was fine and the location was nice and quiet . What I didn't like was the transfer bus wasn't able to reach the hotel which meant you had to haul your luggage 200mtrs up hill to reach the hotel. The Hotel has a policy of not serving... More

Plus: great spacious rooms, excellent spa, massages, nice quiet location only 10 min walk to main ski lift. What disappointed us was the food: compared to other Austrian 4star or even 3star hotels we stayed in the food was unimaginative, the portions small and often seemed to be coming from the tin (salads). Breakfast was especially poor with items often... More

Nice hotel with the really friendly staff, family owned, good food, 3 course meal for dinner, the only thing i didn't like is poeple smoking in the lobby. Hotel is in a quite location although only 5 min walk away from both gondola's and town center with bars and restaurants.Good night life especially apres'ski ice bar was really good. Mayrhofen... At first, the hotel looked a bit far off town, but it turned out it's just the right distance. It's close enough to both gondolas (no more than 5 min. walk) and the main street, but still quiet like we prefer (bar hopping isn't for us 50+ year-olds). Our room was very clean and pleasant, and the spa area is... More

We have just got back from a weeks walking around Mayrhofen and had a great week, The hotel on first impressions was a little to far out of town; but I think that was because we was the last to be dropped off but after a few days we realised that it was perfect for us only a 5 minute... More

First things first - this is not in a million years a 4 star hotel. The spa area is, admittedly, excellent but everything else about the hotel is 2 or 3 star at most. In a bit more detail: Rooms - I think there may be some renovated rooms, but our two rooms were very old and in need of... More

After a very long day (18Hours) we arrived at this charming hotel at 2 in the morning. We were met by Joseph who dealt with us quickly and provided us with drinks and something to eat. Our rooms were warm and comfortable, with great views over the outskirts of the village and the mountains beyond. Breakfast was more than enough... More

I never write reviews but really felt I must after staying at the St Georg over New Years. I went with my family including 2 children aged 5 and 10. Hotel was very old fashioned in decor, large spacious rooms though, with good storage and clean towels everyday. Towels even provided for the pool, which was very cold! but the... More

We too were slightly worried by some of the negative comments we had read. But please be assured it is well worth staying here and we will definitely return. It is in a lovely quiet location with beautiful views but it's only a short walk into town or to either of the cable cars. The hotel is spotless, the staff... More
