We were in NOLA for the 2009 Mardi Gras Marathon. The Courtyard was perfectly located between the Expo. and the Start/Finish Line. Got this hotel through a priceline bid. Was pleasantly surprised that its not just for business travelers! Great location far enough away from the French Quarter to avoid the crowds and noise at night, but close enough to walk down, enjoy it then go back to your nice hotel room. Our stay was a pleasant one. The hotel is within walking distance of the trolley that took us to the French Quarter and all over town. The breakfast was excellent an even included a chef to cook eggs any way you want them. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice. I would stay at this hotel again... more

Was in New Orleans for a convention. Hotel was very close to the convention centre and a "safe" walk. Nothing fancy. Make sure to get a room facing the courtyard as outer rooms, those facing street, apparently are noisy. Outdoor pool was dirty - not sure if it was cleaned all week. Buffet breakfast was OK. Would stay there again. more
