Lobby renovated 9/13/11 and it is really beautiful - VERY nice cafe area including booths with individual flat screen TVs. Staff was extremely accommodating. Was in town for Saints game and walked everywhere we needed to go. Convenient to everything but quiet. EXACTLY what my son and I were hoping for! Recommend highly!!!! More

The staff at this hotel are great. We couldn't have asked for better service. Although they are going through a remodeling phase the areas that are not being remodeled are not up to Courtyard standards. Many stains on hallway carpeting, mold on the shower tiles. Stayed for 4 nights while visiting NOLA. Location: it's 30 minutes walk to the french quarter, about 15 minutes to Harrah's and 5 minutes to Riverwalk (nothing there, really). If you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean hotel in the Warehouse District (Convention Center Area) this is it. Within easy walking distance to the Convention center, restraurants and shopping. Slightly longer walk to French Quarter (approx. 1.5 miles) but in good weather an nice walk. We found the staff helpful and friendly. More
