I spent one night here. Location was great. Check-in wasn't until 3p so we parked across the street for the same price as valet and got our party started early! The room was nice and cool as well! Probably equates to a 3 star official rating but great location friendly staff and outstanding value make it worthy of mention - Do not expect 5 star luxury but if you want somewhere clean friendly and don't want to spend top $ in New Orleans try St James

This is a very nice hotel with a great location. Short walking distance to Bourbon Street and to Decatur. The rooms are very nice, I understand that they were recently renovated. The pool can hold maybe two people. One freestyle stoke would put you all the way across the pool. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Arrived at Middle of Memorial Day weekend late evening Room 313 is right next to laundry room, they moved us after waking from a late the next day to a balcony suite. Conveniently located in the Central Business District but only 2-3 blocks from the French Quarter. The hotel is only a block from Harrah's Casino. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Can't wait to stay here again!!! The valets always went the extra mile. They gave 110% the entire time we were there.
