Was there through a group arrangement 3/12-19/2012. Clean. Comfortable bed. Dated, but amazing amount of light - one could actually read in the room!
Needed extra pillow and called down twice, after housekeeping hours apparently. Was told once that there were no pillows (after hours) and once that they'd send one if available (presumably at front desk). No pillow. Left...

I recently stayed at the Brent House because it adjoins the Ochner Medical Center where a family member of mine underwent a kidney transplant. The facility itself is nice enough. You might think the hotel staff would show a bit of compasion, being connected to a hospital and all, let alone customer service, NO!! From the front desk staff to...

Quite literally "connected" to the Ochsner Hospital, with floors 4 and 5 of the hotel housing some medical facilities (Medical Photography, Psychiatry). The staff was pleasant, but the rooms are very dated, smoked in, and beds uncomfortable. Okay in a pinch, but if there are other options (stayed during the BCS Championship, no rooms for miles) I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Had a free night stay at this hotel and it was awful. They had fire before I arrived and it delayed me from checking in. After that, they could not issue me a room key until about an hour after letting me into my room. The room itself was dated. The bed was uncomfortable. The toilet had hairs all over...

My mom and I stayed here for a couple of days for a relative's open-heart surgery. There are 6 floors in the hotel, which is conveniently connected to the actual hospital. The rooms were really good; could have put a little more effort into cleaning, but the ceiling made up for it: 4 feet higher than a regular room! That...

Sometimes you are obligated to stay at certain places for one reason or another. I will never feel obligated to stay here again under any circumstances. One tip - the second floor is the best floor and most recently renovated; "Recently" in this case may be like - Alaska was recently purchased from the Russian empire by the United States....

This hotel is ajacent to Ocshner Medical center. If you are ever in need of a place to stay while seeing one of the doctors on the next day you can't go wrong by staying here. The convenience can not be compared. I stayed in what is called a Jr. Suite and was very comfortable. They helped very promptly with...

We were in town for triathlon, 2 weeks after the stay they hadn't removed a $195 security deposit charge. I called, they told me it would disappear within 10 business days, so I waited, it was still there 3 weeks after our stay. I called and was told it was a charge for smoking in our room. I have never...

The front desk service was very rude and unhelpful. The showers were the worst I have ever used. There was hardly any water pressure, and one day we had NO HOT WATER! The sink leaked all over the floor. When I informed the front desk of the problem they told me it happens to all hotels and were very rude...
