We had a great experience at the Royal Sonesta. I can't say enough about the staff and the location is right in the heart of the Bourbon Street action. If you are on Bourbon Street (even without the balcony), keep in mind that it will be LOUD until at least dawn breaks.

In the center of the famous and crazy French Quarter the Royal Sonesta is a grand old hotel. Very traditional with the nicest, most accommodating staff one could ever encounter. The staff at Royal Sonesta in Nawlain's helped make our 53rd wedding anniversary spectacular. "We'll be back". They worked hard to get us checked in early, upgraded us to a suite and took care of our every need. We ate at he Revolution Restaurant, PJ's Coffee Bar and the "Desire" Oyster Bar. All excellent.

We had a wonderful time. You are in the middle of Bourbon St. in a luxurious hotel where you can eat and drink,be served and watch the happening people on this historic street. Everyone in this hotel were so professional it made you feel like you were the only one there.
