It is an amazing hotel! Perfect location-one block from bourbon, but still quiet. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The rm was a bit small, but it was fine for 2 people. Fancy lobby, fancy beds, fancy curtains, fancy staff, fancy bar and restaurants. Small standard rooms with limited vanity space. Wasn't too noisy between rooms but you could hear in rooms as you walked down the hall. Older TV's, we had problems with the remote, not that your in NOLA to watch TV but... We stayed in a gorgeous king suite. Well appointed with fabulously high ceilings! Bathroom kind of small but that's not why we come to the Big Easy. Steps from Bourbon Street but none of the noise. Have a drink in the carousel bar. It spins slowly and is kind of cool. more
