Physically, the hotel is nice. It's clean and the rooms were a nice size. The lobby was recently renovated (I believe) and you can get drinks and some food there, although the service is very slow. I have to say, New Orleans has changed after Hurricane Katrina, But the Sheraton was a great place to stay. The staff was superb and our room was very nice, 35th floor with a great view of the river & the city night lights. Bourbon street was dirty but Decatur Street was great. Slow check in, but Very friendly customer service. Amazing location, walking distance from all the French Quarter area attractions. Turn around service is fast and very friendly. Starbucks in lobby is a popular morning stop.Lines are long when conventions are in hotel.

The location was perfect. Right in the heart New Orleans and across the street from the French quarter. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean, spacious and had a great view! Walking distance to Shops at Canal Place too. Great value too!
