In the French Quarter and within a short walk of many major attractions and fine restaurants. Good service, incl. Bellmen. The front desk never steered us wrong in restaraunt recommendations. On the National Register of Historic Places. The rooms are good, but do not expect modern or recently remodeled. The included continental breakfast was very basic, but adequate.

We stayed 6 days at Hotel Provincial. The room (101) was clean. The mattress was terrible. Every time one of us moved it woke the other up. Room 101 was a deluxe room with a king bed that was on a courtyard. Unfortunately, we were also the first room that everyone went by after a night out on Bourbon St....

Great room for a good price! Has that French Quarter feeling and a couple blocks from Burbon St. Would stay there again!

My husband had business in New Orleans. We normally stay at the Marriott chain, however, we decided to book an independent, historical, hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. We also read the trip advisor reviews before we booked our room. This is a great location, clean room, beautiful grounds, and very accommodating staff. Will definitely stay again!

I booked this hotel based on reviews of previous travelers. I was not disappointed. The Provincial is in the quiet end of the French Quarter, literally a few blocks from the river, trolley and the action. It isw a complex of 5 buildings. (We were in the main one facing the pool.) Our room had canopied beds and antique furniture....

This was a wonderful little hotel. Helpful and friendly staff, clean, comfortable and charming room, charming courtyard and pool area. Decent complimentary breakfast, use of a computer and so close to everything in the French Quarter without being too close to the noise of Bourbon Street. I would definitely stay at this classy yet affordable place if I ever get...

We stayed at the Hotel Provincial at the beginning of Mardi Gras.. In its advertising it said it does not have an elevator. The Bell Staff carries your luggage up there for you. We were a few blocks from the Trolley which took you anywhere in New Orleans. The Staff was great and our room was very clean. The decor...

We booked a room at this hotel because the price was right and it was located within walking distance to a lot of things to do in the French Quarter. We wanted to stay someplace that reflected some of the history of the area. We were not disappointed. There are several buildings and we were put in building 5. Our...

Yes, this place is cute. It's in a really good location. It's got a nice little courtyard and a couple of swimming pools. The room had fancy canopied beds and interesting antique art work. However, the bathroom was total rubbish. So small, you had to climb over the toilet to get the door closed. Moldy and dingy. It was like...
