Lovely hotel very close to the hustle and bustle of bourbon street. Our room (467) had a balcony with a Suntrap. Generous sized rooms and an above average sized bathroom. Entry key mechanism superior and effective. Only issue was that there were no handrails in the bath/shower and no place to hang used towels. Ask for a room overlooking the... More

Amazing stay for 4 nights, Used a Diamond Suite upgrade to an oversize connector suite on the top floor over the pool. It was very quiet at night, great sleep! Steps from Bourbon St and so many great restaurants. (Bayonna, just around the corner on Dauphine for one) Staff always there for any need, as well as a watchful security... More

Every single member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I come from working in the hospitality industry and I know first hand just how rare this is. The hotel was beautifully renovated, but the staff truly made this hotel extra special

Stayed here for 2 nights in May. The guy on Reception (Bryant) was extremely helpful at check in, and room was quite comfortable. Room (twin queen beds) was not large, but comfortable. Average facilities provided, bathroom clean and fully functional. Good size room-safe in closet, excellent proximity to Canal and Bourbon Streets. Everything you want is within walking distance. If... More

The Hyatt is on Iberville Street, one block off of Bourbon and one block off of Canal. The reason it is one of the best locations is its proximity to the river, many of the finest restaurants in town and a large number of music venues- while maintaining a good level of quiet and serenity. Bourbon Street has always been... More

Great location, quiet inside courtyard room. The cafe leaves a lot to be desired. No refills on coffee at breakfast. Service was good one day and not so the next. Loved being close to the action of the Quarter but still have quiet time. Close to trolley as hotel has multiple entrances on Canal as well. Would stay here again.

This hotel is in the perfect location in the French Quarter. You walk out of the hotel and you're literally on Bourbon Street in about a minute. The service from every employee was impeccable. The room was incredible. We asked for a room with a balcony upon check-in and it was no problem to upgrade at no additional cost. Even... More

We loved this hotel for it's beautiful and welcoming lobby, cleanliness, large rooms and very comfortable beds. We had a room on the second floor which had a doorway out onto a quaint and quiet outdoor courtyard. Very nice and large bar area. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning did not cool the room off.

Lovely hotel in historic building one block from Bourbon Street, close enough to get to the action, far enough to be quiet, which is a good thing because the town is hopping with Jazz Fest. Spacious room and very clean. Staff is very helpful. We'd stay here again.

Stayed here for Jazzfest in a double queen room with balcony with wife and friends. Really enjoyed most aspects of our stay. The hotel is obviously a remodel of an old hotel but up to snuff with most Hyatt properties. The bar (Batch) had some great and unique options and the bartender was extremely friendly. Powdered Sugar, the small cafe... More
