The Burgundy is in a quiet neighborhood, but still just a short walk from the music of Frenchman Street and a little farther (about 20 minutes) from the heart of the French Quarter. The rooms were neat and clean, the beds comfortable. Carl, the innkeeper, was fantastic. He never tired of my questions about the area and was always on... More

Spent 4 wonderful days in the month of March on Spring Break with the hubby and son. The Burgundy was a fabulous place to stay. It felt like home and Carl was the perfect innkeeper. He gave us advice on where to go, eat, shop, tour, etc. The other guest were enjoyable to talk to during breakfast and they, too,... More

Spent a few days here in October - returned this time for a week - had another great stay here - the last time i was so busy running around daft, with all the tours that i'd booked in advance, that i seldom spent much time at the Burgundy...this time, i was able to relax and pace myself...so i enjoyed... Great B & B in the cute neighborhood of Marigny. You will do alot of walking to where all the action is. But no big deal. We felt safe the whole time. Carl will help you with whatever your needs are. We stayed in the red room and would recommend because of having its own entrance off the patio.

I stayed at the Burgundy this weekend, on my third visit to NOLA this time with my parents. In my last two visits I stayed at another B&B in Marigny and I liked the neighborhood as it is very close to the Frenchmen Street and within the walking distance from the French Quarter. I wanted to try a different place... More

We really enjoyed our stay here and found it a friendly, well run and well organized B&B. The host, Carl, was born and raised in New Orleans and knows the city well. He’s a fount of help and accommodating the various needs of the traveler. The rooms are comfortable and homey with all sorts of conveniences for the tourist. There... More

We were pleased with our stay at the Burgundy B&B. It was an old house on a relatively quiet street in a good location within walking distance to the French Quarter and the river front area. We thought that our room, and the house in general, was clean and well maintained. Carl, the proprietor, set out a nice table with... More

We drove 13 hours in bliss knowing that we were going to be staying in our favorite part of Nawlens (By Water) and much to my dismay I was very disappointed upon arrival. I would check the place our thoroughly prior to checking in and feel out the proprietor first (he didn't seem to be very concerned at all about... More

We there for five nights in December and were so happy! Beautiful, comfortable, quaint room with healthy and delicious breakfast (not cooked but boiled eggs and peanut butter for protein, fresh fruit - lots - and great coffee, pastries). Perfect location in the Marigny, a short walk to the French Quarter and near some amazing food and bars on Frenchman... More

Stayed there for 4 nights last week, in the smaller Coral room, not as small as some of the reviews imply...it is perfect for a solo traveler...or a happy couple...it has a shower only, no tub and the sink is in the room...this is in the Marigny area, where the locals live, about a 10 minute walk from Frenchman Street...
