Make accomondations for people arriving earlier than check in besides holding their bags. When arriving with a senior citizen (93 yr old) you should not expect them to sit in your lobby for 5-hours until a room is ready.

Just a couple of blocks the other side of Canal Street from the French Quarter, this hotel has very reasonable rates (except for parking) and an incredible breakfast. A very safe part of the business district and an easy walk to the French Quarter, Riverwalk, Casino, and not far from the Superdome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a nice view of New Orleans from our window. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

In town for the Jazzfest and wanted to stay in the French Quarter. The Hilton Garden Inn on Gravier was the best choice I could have made. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing they did forget to mention was the room key was needed in the elevator in order to select your room floor. the room and lobby were both clean and spacious. The staff helped with luggage storage prior to our room being ready and after checkout.

Stayed here during Jazz Fest 2013. Hotel is in walking distance to just about everything. Short walk to streetcar stop and you can catch a ride to anywhere further than you'd like to walk.
