My wife and I stayed at the Canal Street Inn for 5 nights in early December. We were having difficulty finding a room after we booked airline tickets for this weekend and discovered there was a home Saints game and LSU were playing that weekend. A friend had stayed at the Inn and recommended it, as luck would have it... More

My wife and I spent last weekend in New Orleans for a romantic get-away, and highly recommend the Canal Street Inn. The home is lovely, accomodations are clean and spacious, and Monica is a wonderful hostess!! The location is excellent, being close to the French Quarter, Garden District, Superdome, Arena, WW II museum, etc. If you are going to New... More

We stayed at the Canal Street Inn for two nights during the BCS Championship Game and could not be more pleased with our trip. Monica and her dog, Allie, were outstanding hostesses, the hotel is beautiful, and the breakfasts were delicious. We strongly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone heading to New Orleans. More

Loved this house. Beautiful, glamorous, spacious rooms with all the important details. Monica is a new owner so she has passion and she is very responsive. Clean, quiet and great in terms of location. We did not want to stay in the noisy French Quarter and this house is close to everything. Garden district, French Quarter, Magazine Street. We had... Visited New Orleans for Thanksgiving weekend, and my husband and I were thrilled with our stay in this beautiful Victorian house. Monica and her husband are the new owners of the house, and they are lovingly restoring the property to its full glory. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect--quiet, but close to the... More

Monica and her family were amazing. They were welcoming and extremely accommodating to all of our needs the whole weekend. The breakfasts were perfect for our picky and health conscious group. She helped us find restaurants and sights, and the wine every evening was a nice touch. I am DEFINITELY staying here every time I return to NoLa!!! More

I will never stay at a hotel again after such a lovely experience! Upon arrival my boyfriend and I were warmly greeted by the new owner, Monica. She and her husband purchased the 100 years old Victorian B&B just a month or so ago (no more dogs). The house is truly charming and huge. The rooms are clean and spacious.... More

I'm new to the B&B scene, but I certainly will try to find more during my travels after my recent stay in the delightful Block-Keller House. My travelling partners and I really enjoyed the spacious accommodations and the feel of living in a wonderful period property. The beds were comfortable, the towels "thirsty", and the breakfast was perfect for us.... More

We stayed at the house for 5 days. The room size was amazing. It is true that you won't get that in a hotel. But I have stayed in quite a few bed and breakfasts and this one was ok. I was told that in New Orleans bed&breakfasts can't serve actual breakfasts, but the Block-Keller house offered a huge spread.... More

What a disappointment. I had heard good things from friends and online reviews, but the reality was a different story. Not the cleanest place (I thought they had cleaned up after katrina). Not the friendliest place: hosts were downright surly, and the guests were not the model of warmth either. I wasn;'t there to make friends, though, and I'm glad... More
