The location is GREAT. The best way to describe the hotel is "very new orleans". This hotel is a collection of buildings built in different centuries - some are historical - built in the 1700s, some are more recent as in the last 30 years (maybe) - so it is very eclectic. The rooms are decorated in a very new... More

We stayed for 5 nights, traveling with our 3 kids, we booked the 2 room, 2 bedroom suite. The suite was great for our family. We all had the room we needed. The staff is polite and helpful, always had answers for us and tried to help. The hotel offers free breakfast and wihi. The location has its ups and... More

Check in was easy and efficient - the rooms were clean and comfortable - however they were a bit outdated and have to be renovated. The bathrooms also have to be improved since it's quite old and it takes awhile for the plumbing to work. The breakfast was tasty and adequate. Wifi free and OK. But the best part is... More

There is a fee for parking and the fee is unreasonable, in my opinion. The hotel is in a great location, in that the Saint Charles trolley runs right past the front door, giving access to convenient and quite inexpensive meandering around the city. The layout of the property is like many in New Orleans: there are several buildings but... More

This is an hodgepodge hotel. The pictures are deceiving, the hotel is behind the lobby in different buildings. The parking is across the street not in the same location as the hotel kinda off putting. The parking lot is gated and there are two cameras on top of a thirty foot building. THis is a pet friendly hotel so BEWARE!! Other... More

We had trouble with the room smelling like cigarettes - there solution was to send someone over with Febreeze. We said no... so, they moved us to another room. Front desk staff is efficient and quick - just an average place to stay for one night + one weird neighborhood. We parked on the side street with no problem. More

My husband and I debated if we were going to give this a 3 or a 4. In all honesty, it is an average hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there is a nice pool and hot tub, and the continental breakfast was very tasty. The extra bit for me, though, was how convenient the location of the hotel... Stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and found it to be a nice quiet place in the Garden District. Easy access to streetcars to go downtown. Nice restaurants within one to two blocks. Hotel staff was helpful and enjoyed sitting in the little courtyard. When we first drove up our family wondered about the hotel but the rooms were remodeled and... More
