Pleasant staff, great rooms, awesome location with super easy access to the St. Charles street car line to access the Audubon Park and Zoo, downtown, Aquarium, Insectarium, and French Quarter. And best of all, the hotel starts your day off with an amazing morning breakfast...one of the best hotel continental breakfasts we've ever had!

Absolutely loved our stay. Wife and I went down for a long weekend without our kids. We stayed in the Maison St.Charles for four days. It is located in the Garden District and is right on the St. Charles streetcar line. We were able to travel all over the city with no problem at all. We parked our car in their secure parking lot (they even called to tell us we had left a window open)... More

We stayed here 3 nights in June. The good...Cheap. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good airconditioning. Street car across road. 10 mins from French quarter. The bad... Seedy area. Weird people just loitering around.No safe in rooms. Noisy pool area at night.Old & dated. Would I stay here again? No

The rooms are kind of old, and it's not really in the heart of the Garden District. Otherwise, it's a decent budget choice. Pretty clean facilities, and nice courtyard for relaxing. It's a quick streetcar ride to the French Quarter, or a 20 minute walk.
