Drenched in history and famous for its unique architectural styles, New Orleans possesses a Joie de vivre that is palatable. This spirit and flavor is captured in the Jazz Quarters, a beautiful quiet respite from the hustle and bustles of the French Quarter. Virtually steps away but a world apart, the Jazz Quarter offers its guest a friendly, welcoming atmosphere,... More

We just spent one night at The Jazz Quarters but will be back! Walking distance to the French Quarter, enclosed parking, clean rooms with small kitchen, breakfast like no other could ask for nothing more. Vincent and Lola made us feel so special. We'll be back to the Jazz Quarters this summer for sure. More

Forgive the slightly whimsical subject heading, but it's just over a week since I left what is, without question, my favourite place to stay in New Orleans, which makes it a strong contender for my favourite place to stay on Earth. So I'm feeling a tad mawkish. I have been visiting the Crescent City for 20 years, more often than... More

This must be the best-written review I have ever read. Thanks, S. Lola and I are seriously considering taking a trip to Nairobi. I'd very much like to see the place where it all began and it would be great to meet up with you. If not, there is always Jazz fest 2013. All the best, Vincent More

Last year my wife and I made our first visit to New Orleans during the French Quarter Festival and decided to stay at The Garlands Historic Creole Cottages, in the Treme neighborhood accross from Armstrong Park (which includes Congo Square, the birthplace of jazz) and directly accross the street from the French Quarter. We had such a great time that... More

We spent 3 nights in the New Orleans Jazz Quarters just before the beginning of the Jazz Fest and we had a great experience. The innkeepers Lola and Vince were super friendly and nice and gave us lots of helpful tips on what to see and do. The room we stayed in was the White one and it was lovely... More

Along with our friends, we spent 6 nights here. I found it on TripAdvisor and the reviews are accurate. It's an historic place located in the Tremé district, less than a block from N. Rampart Street, which forms the dividing line between Tremé and the French Quarter. The B&B is comprised of 9 cottages that were formerly part of the... More

It was our first trip to New Orleans and from the moment we entered the gate to Jazz Quarters, it was clear that all the positive reviews of TripAdvisor are really true. This peaceful oasis is located just within a few minutes walk to French Quarters 'party zone', offering a very quiet, relaxing and secure place to rest. It's also... More

Three things stand out about the Jazz Quarters. The first is its location. Rampart St is the northern boundary of the French Quarter in New Orleans, and this B&B sits on the other side of the street, tucked up St Phillip St and facing Louis Armstrong Park. So it is a two minute walk to the French Quarter, which means... More

I'm writing this review over a month after my visit, which I'm taking flack for, believe me. My girlfriend and I visitied Jazz Quarters end of Feb through the first week of March. Great experience. Very relaxing. Coming from LA it took a few days for the city to wear off, but once it did, we were glad we chose... More

Hi Doug, Thanks a lot for this nice review. I agree that The Armstrong is one of the nicest cottages at the Jazz Quarters. Whenever life gets too hectic in the city of Angels, come on down and relax in the Big Easy. All the best, Vincent More

Our first trip to New Orleans was enhanced by our 5-night stay at the beautiful Jazz Quarters, a wonderfully charming and relaxing B&B. Each room has its own style and personality. We stayed in the Mayfield, which had a lovely sitting area as well as a cozy four-poster bed in the adjoining bedroom. Our group of 10 (from both the... More
