Elegance & comfort on the doorstep of the premier New Orleans Music Scene with local connections. This beautiful five bedroom 153 year old home is located on world famous Frenchmen Street, 1/2 block from The Spotted Cat, Cafe Negril, DBA and Snug Hatbor, some of the best music venues in NOLA. The streetcar stop and French Market are just a short walk away. And don't worry about being too close or too far from the outrageous, always-entertaining Bourbon street/French Quarter neighborhood. It too, is only four blocks away! Each room offers an en-suite bathroom (with shower/tub combo), ceiling fans, free WiFi, high end mattresses and linens. We offer a 24 hour stocked to the max breakfast/snack bar. Free street parking, a round of drinks at Cafe Negril and continental breakfast is included. The exclusive combination of location, amenities, comfort and local connection provide the perfect setting to have an experience of a lifetime!
Love antiques and truly old southern and this place drips with it. The location is great and the owner makes your stay very enjoyable. Karen cooked breakfast us and shared with us her extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and provided tidbits on things to do during our current and future visits. Would most definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Quiet room, across from a quiet park, yet just a block from great jazz clubs. I enjoyed the continental-plus breakfast: yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and one hot item that changed daily. Additionally, Karen the innkeeper was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Two thumbs up!

I am SO thankful I found the R&B Bed and Breakfast because now I will never consider staying anywhere else in New Orleans! My partner and I came in for a wedding, and after a not-so-great stay in an Airbnb the last time we came to NOLA, we knew we wanted to stay somewhere local, and we hit the jackpot! This bed and breakfast could not be in a more prime location just steps away from incredible jazz clubs on Frenchmen and only a 10-15 minute walk from the French Quarter where it is then easy to catch the streetcars to go anywhere else you desire. The house itself is stunning and so peaceful, even off of a busy street. We stayed in the Reggae Room, which was beautifully decorated and so spacious! Breakfast was delicious every morning with a huge continental spread, as well as fresh, hot options cooked by Beth and Karen. We also appreciated the 24 hour snacks in the kitchen, and the free drink from Cafe Negril was a lovely perk. However, the absolute stand out of staying at R&B was getting to know Karen, the property manager. She went above and beyond in every single way during our stay, from providing recommendations to even lending us one of her personal bags to take out one evening. She is extremely kind, warm, and a lovely person to get to know. The highlight of our trip was getting to talk to her, and we left knowing we have a new friend in New Orleans! If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city with charm, amazing amenities, and exception service, look no further than R&B Bed and Breakfast (and tell Karen we said hi!)!…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the R&B Bed and Breakfast. The accommodations were very comfortable with a particularly nice king bed. We loved the B&Bs close proximity to all the music clubs and restaurants just a few blocks away on Frenchmen’s Street. Exactly what were looking for!

The absolute best location and best price! I haven't stayed in an actual BnB in far too long. It was lovely to have breakfast and coffee waiting for us in the cozy eat-in kitchen. I also found time to relax in the parlor and read a book. Thank you Karen for a wonderful stay and we can't wait to come back soon.

We stayed three nights in the Mardi Gras junior suite and everything was great! Karen made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, the neighborhood is quite and safe. Parking nearby was easy and you can walk practically everywhere.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, helpful host, great breakfast. Spacious common area. Perfect location for music, but out of the fray. Old building with character. Very New Orleans in character. Easy free street parking. We’d stay here again!

We had a great time at the R&B B&B on Frenchman Street! Karen was an awesome innkeeper / host, super friendly and gave us lots of great local tips. The location was great - super close to everything, but just far enough from the main action that it was nice and quiet at night. Very comfortable stay.

The R&B Bed & Breakfast it in my opinion, the best place to stay in N.O., right in the heart of all the action on Frenchmen St. Each room has a different theme associated with music. Our room was the Blue Room. There's a lovely little courtyard to relax in with a waterfall and lots of plants. Karen Jayet-Castaneda is a super innkeeper, I highly recommend it.
