This is an old hotel with a lot of "character". If you're looking for a luxurious hotel, this isn't it. This hotel has the look and feel of a hotel from the early 20th century. The rooms have high ceilings and very few decorations. There was a small TV in the room with basic cable channels; probably 20 channels total.... More

Park Hotel This historic hotel was built in 1929 and opened to the public in 1930. It is not nearly as large as other old historic hotels in Hot Springs, such as the Arlington, and, while others such as the Majestic have closed, the Park has apparently been operating continuously since 1930. Reasonably priced for the area at $86, our... More

Pictures on internet are deceiving and the Park Hotel looks nothing like photos. It it very poorly taken care of, cracks in walls, no curtains, blinds do not close to block light and blinds are Dollar Store quality. There also is no coffee pot, microwave, air conditioner , no refrigerator or other amenities that travelers are used too. Does not... More

The renovation and cleanliness of the hotel rate at least a B+. The staff is VERY accomodating. The hotel is walking distance from all downtown attractions, bars, clubs & restaruants. The rooms are pretty small, but not cramped. We stayed over Arkansas Derby weekend and thank goodness we needed neither air conditioning nor much heat! There is NO air conditioning... More

The Park has a beautiful lobby, and I love Angels, the restaurant downstairs. That's why I'm giving this hotel 3 stars. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. We booked a Queen room, and it was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. There was little to no decor, no curtains, no coffee pot, and not enough pillows... More

Floors are sticky and dirty, linens filthy. Charged us 30 bucks more a night than they quoted. Space heater in the room instead of heat. Tv doesnt work, all lightbulbs but one are blown. Paint is peeling on walls and furniture, and tables are dirty. Staff was nice though, but thank God we r gone.

We have stayed at the Park a few times now and we are always happy there. The exterior of the hotel and interior (lobby, restaurant, and halls) are very unique with original décor and lots of photo ops for you camera enthusiasts. The rooms are simple and dated - but clean and comfortable. You should try to reserve a king... More

We booked this hotel because it was race season and every hotel in town was either sold out or had a two night minimum. We got the last six rooms in the hotel including a small suite and the honeymoon suite. Yes, the hotel is old, 1930's and yes it does show it's age but after a day at the... More

This is an old hotel. The furniture is old and the rooms are not modern. We love hotels like this and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you like the Arlington, you will like the Park Hotel. Yes, there is a $9 "energy" charge. Don't know why, just consider the room is $9 more than the price you are quoted.... More

We were staying at the Arlington and came here for dinner. Before we went in, we had a fascinating chat with the charming Dennis, who has a Civil War memorabilia shop off the lobby--he has jillions of books and many collectibles and is a fount of knowledge about the war and Hot Springs. We did look at hotel rooms and... More
