We had gone in september 2012 for a single day. The place is about 5 mins walk from lonavala railway station, so its great for people coming by train. The rates informed were high, but since we didnt stay for the night, we got it negotiated to Rs.1500 for Non-AC :-). At this cost, the place is totally worth it.... More

i have visited highland resort last week , the swimming pool was clean, lot of parking place to park the cars, staff are new but ok. visiting with a family, it is worth, but a bit far away from the main road, food is tasty, at durbar restaurant,

Its a bad place to stay. Room stings and everything is dirty there. Swimming pool does not work. Pillows and blankets were not washed properly also. I traveled with my family (wife, two kids) and my son is 2 year old. We did not like the place suitable for small children as the cleanliness is an issue there.

It is one of the worst hotels in Lonavala. The rooms are very bad, the property looks like some sidey hotel, not at all for families. 2nd home as whenever in Lonavala. New management has taken over. Good improvement seen since the last time. Keep it up and looking forward to seeing you guys soon. The best part is we check-in whenever required and check-out at our ease. We have been going there for many years now.

Nice facilites. Very clean and comfortable and they thought of a cook when they supplied the kitchen. Adult spa stays open til late, I believe midnight, which is nice.
