I was searching Tripadvisor to find a suitable Ayurveda Center for ifor an authentic experience and a more serious 14+ day Ayurveda Retreat, which implies strictly veg, no kids, no alcohol etc...I therefor start this review to note that in my opinion Marari's Ayurveda spa is less of the authentic Ayurveda hospital/sanatorium type set-up but rather adapted to appeal to... Although we enjoyed our stay at Marari Beach Resort, it is not necessarily the kind of place we would go back to. It was too much of a 'resort' for our taste and felt cut off from the surrounds. It is an excellent choice if you like to spend your day on the beach or by the pool, but there... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for posting your feedback on your stay with us at Marari Beach. It was quite surprising to read that you did not find enough experiences at Marari to keep your engaged. We often have our guests complain about how their time at our destinations is just not enough to be able to do all the things they... More

Very relaxing five star hotel. Beautiful and convenient private bungalows. Food is good too. Beach is nice as long as you stay in front of the hotel; otherwise not so clean. Great swimming pool. Very private and a lot of space for everybody. Massages are professional too and of good quality. You are really on "Marari planet" but no longer... More

If you're looking for a place to relax after your flight in or at the end of your trip to Kerala then look no further. This resort specialises in relaxation. Accommodation is in thatched bungalows which are air-conditioned, extremely spacious with the open air bathrooms and verandahs on which to watch the world go by. These are serviced twice a... More

We booked a pool villa just a day before arriving. The thatched house was everything we expected and that was thanks to trip advisor reviews. Lovely beach, clean with strong current. Pool is large but gets very warm. Food was very good. Staff extremely efficient and friendly.

Perfect location. We were lucky enough to have one of the private pool villas. Superb service, food and weather. What more could you want.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a "pool villa"--a thatched roofed villa with a vine covered wall surrounding our own private pool. The service was exemplary and the setting was sublime. A coconut grove back of the beach with lounges and hammocks were served by an open-sided bar with waiters to take your order from your lounge for drinks or... More

We spent two full days at the Marari Beach Resort (Alappuzah) & whilst there are cheaper options, this is luxury. Our villa was spacious & very well furnished, complete with “an outside” shower & toilet – a bit different to other outside WCs I’ve used. The resort offers lots of free as well as charged activities, but a couple of... More

We have returned from 3 weeks at this magnificent beach resort which we last visited 4 years ago. Even then it remained as one of the best hotels in which we have stayed for the excellence of its ambience, supreme customer service, tranquility of the vast estate in which it is set and the charm of its individual bungalows set...
