It is very easy to get to/from Greensboro airport. It took about 20 minutes in afternoon traffic. As for restaurants and shopping, you do need a car to get around, but there is a lot to choose from off the main road...

We came to town from Clayton NC for auditions. The hotel let us check in a little earlier since the registration ended earlier than we expected. The room was clean and had a pleasantly clean scent. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. They have an indoor pool that was a little cool but overall we had an awesome stay....
